Learning beautiful crafts

So yesterday I found this lovely drawing that I did last year and of course I decided why should I do small project let's do again something more complicated. Why? Because it's a cute drawing of course. The first question is where should I start? Should I start with the tail or the pumpkin or the cat. What colors should I use, what paper, what quilling tools. Questions, questions, questions ... decisions, decisions, decisions ... Today's objectives: 1. Stop fighting the glue monster 2. Do smaller projects for practice 3. Give more explanations =>  Basically talk-talk-talk I will start today with the finished project image, yes you read correct projects. I decided after yesterday's messy mayhem to do smaller projects, cleaner projects with templates that I made with hand after getting inspired from Pinterest. The result looks like this: Yes! Hello again, Probably I should have started with the basics. I talked in my first post about the tools that I got, but not about basic quilling shapes and scrolls. I am still learning so I may not tell you everything or correct thinks, all my information is of the internet ( all bow down to Google and YouTube) :) Quilling shapes There a lots of YouTube videos about quilling shapes ( not mine, I don't do that, maybe on request but please don't ask me to do it). So today I said to myself that I need stuffy stuff like : 1.  a  cutter ( yes I know it's weird that I didn't had one) 2.  a   light box.  Looked at the prices of a light box, had a small hearth attach, and decided to make one from scratch so I needed:  a do it yourself tutorial :  https://www.danyabanya.com/diy-light-table/ - checked supplies - went shopping of course :D Fast forward made my own light box: Good to do :  Get cute decoration lights with batteries to use them in the house when you are not using the light box  ( win-win ) I use the container for storing some of my quilling stuff when not used as the light box. I keep repeating my self today. 3. a pattern-notebook-template-thing - this is a math small notebook in which I doodle what I want to be my next project. So today I looked at  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rO1fr1q99k8&t=189s great tutorial. Made me inspired. At first I wanted to do exactly the tutorial pattern but then I got creative and ended up doing this: It took me 2 hours . I was thinking to make it more complex with lots of little flowers but maybe next time. I still have to work on everything but first on my gluing technique, let's just say I'm all over the map but at least my glue is transparent. Next project will have lots of glue and i don't know how the blue spirals are called but i should have more of that.

I will start the blog with a little story on how it started and stuffy stuff and we are here today. ..but not yet today so It all started a loong time ago , last friday when I first stumbled on quilling while searching on the mighty and powerful Pinterest for Christmas and Halloween  yourself decorations (Yey!). After you stumble on something you like you of course Google and Youtube it :D so thats what I did. All the flowers and stuff made with this technique where so beautiful and did not look so hard so I got exited like a puppy and wanted to try it. My boyfriend supported me so the journey began. ... 1. Went to Jumbo.. did not find only paper so everything on standby till monday 2. Went to a hobby shop.
